Don Durfee

 

Don Durfee is a partner with The Editors Group, a Hong Kong- and New York-based editorial services company. He is the former editor of CFO Asia and CFO China, two specialist magazines published by The Economist Group. He joined the magazines in January 2007 as managing editor after many years with CFO magazine in New York. Don has written award-winning features on topics ranging from executive pay to GE's expansion in China.

 

Prior to his time at CFO, Don was a senior editor with the Economist Intelligence Unit in New York. He also served as the managing editor of the Alliance Analyst, a fortnightly newsletter examining joint ventures and partnerships. Don has undergraduate degrees in history from Tufts University and music from New England Conservatory. He also holds a master's degree from Columbia University, where he studied international economic policy. He speaks Mandarin Chinese.
